An ANZAC photo reflection

As a Russian war veteran get’s his first glimpse of the tank he once fought in the emotions start to flood in, He walks over to the once old and crippled but now restored tank and his heart collapses as he kneels beside it.

He starts to remember the memories of horror and fear as well as some triumphant ones.
He comes to one of his memories and his words begin to stutter and tear dropped slowly trickle down his cheek,
The emotions inside him were all bottled up together and now he lets them out all at once.

He still feels the terror and fear that an enemy soldier may sneak-up behind them and try to destroy their tank or worse…        DESTROY THEM!!!
But that is all behind them now they don’t have to worry anymore, he is safe.

He has served his country and made it out alive,
Many soldiers have died from this war,all just because of certain people being greedy and selfish, WE are truly lucky to not have war like this, but this does not mean that we can do anything we want and take advantage of things, we should be thankful for the life we have,
This truly was an emotional moment, for a soldier and his tank have finally been re-united!
For their service we are forever in debt, lest we forget!

Holy week reflection-( The criminals on the cross )

The criminals on the cross were crucified with Jesus,
They were crucified for the crimes and bad things they did.
One of the events that happened on the cross was when Jesus forgave one of them for their sins, he did this before they died.
They were hung on either side of him.
Jesus took the place of a terrible criminal called Barrabis/(He got crucified instead!)

These are based on two stories from the bible which have been changed by me without affecting the meaning, below there is a difference so which one do you think is true?

They crucified two rebels with Jesus, one on his right and one on his left. Those who passed by shouted insults at him, shaking their heads and saying, “So! You who are going to destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, come down from the cross and save yourself!” In the same way the chief priests and the teachers of the law made fun of him among themselves. “He saved others,” they said, “but he can’t save himself! Let this Messiah, this king of Israel, come down from the cross, that we may see and believe in.” Those crucified with him also hurled insults on him.
One of the criminals who hung there shouted insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us too!” But the other criminal told him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? We are punished fairly, for we are getting what our bad deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.

In conclusion to this I think Jesus should not of died, how ever although those criminals were so nasty and non-religious at their final moment they realised that they were part of God's family too, so they asked for forgiveness at their final moment,so I believe that they are in heaven and have been accepted as one of Gods children.
