Holy week reflection-( The criminals on the cross )

The criminals on the cross were crucified with Jesus,
They were crucified for the crimes and bad things they did.
One of the events that happened on the cross was when Jesus forgave one of them for their sins, he did this before they died.
They were hung on either side of him.
Jesus took the place of a terrible criminal called Barrabis/(He got crucified instead!)

These are based on two stories from the bible which have been changed by me without affecting the meaning, below there is a difference so which one do you think is true?

They crucified two rebels with Jesus, one on his right and one on his left. Those who passed by shouted insults at him, shaking their heads and saying, “So! You who are going to destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, come down from the cross and save yourself!” In the same way the chief priests and the teachers of the law made fun of him among themselves. “He saved others,” they said, “but he can’t save himself! Let this Messiah, this king of Israel, come down from the cross, that we may see and believe in.” Those crucified with him also hurled insults on him.
One of the criminals who hung there shouted insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us too!” But the other criminal told him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? We are punished fairly, for we are getting what our bad deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.

In conclusion to this I think Jesus should not of died, how ever although those criminals were so nasty and non-religious at their final moment they realised that they were part of God's family too, so they asked for forgiveness at their final moment,so I believe that they are in heaven and have been accepted as one of Gods children.
